Not many people know that diving in Koh Lipe is one of the best underworld experiences in Thailand you will ever find. The island is located on the edge of one of Thailand’s oldest and largest marine parks, the Tarutao National Marine Park. Because of that, Koh Lipe and about twenty small islands surrounding it (some uninhabited) offer numerous diving opportunities for all tastes and levels.
Tarutao National Marine Park is comprised of over 30 islands with colorful, vibrant coral reefs abundant in varied marine life. Dugong, common dolphins, the endangered Irrawaddy dolphin, sperm whales, minke whales, several shark and ray species, innumerable reef fish and critter species have all been spotted here. No matter how many dives you make here, it won’t be enough!
We are a 5-star PADI Dive Centre that has been running for 6 years. Whether you choose to get a PADI Dive course or a Dive Trip we will try to take you to as many different sites as possible during your time here. Among the most beautiful Dive Sites are Stonehenge, Talang, Koh Taru, Far Islands, Seven Rocks & 8-mile rock. They are mainly filled with beautiful soft corals, a few pinnacles, and flat sandy areas.
There is diving here suitable for all levels with some mind-blowing options for the more advanced. One of the best advantages of diving in Koh Lipe is the scarcity of divers, so it’s highly unlikely that you’ll bump into another group of divers underwater.
Picture postcard white sand beaches, tropical palm trees and warm aquamarine waters make this an idyllic island destination. With an estimated 25% of the world’s tropical fish species being found here along with dugongs, dolphins, 3 species of turtle, minke and sperm whales, oh Lipe is as mesmerizing underwater as it is on land.
